How is Nano Paint Cleaning, Polishing, and Protection Performed?

The process is carried out in 4 stages.

Industrial dust, oils, resins, foreign paint particles, etc., that adhere to the paint surface and are not removed by water, along with scratches and color fading from external factors like sun, wind, and friction, cause the surface to become dull, old, and faded.

Scratches Reaching the Metal - How Can I Tell if I Have Scratches Reaching the Metal on My Car?

Scratches that penetrate the car's clear coat and paint layers down to the metal body panel are defined as deep scratches that reach the metal layer.

Today, there are digital gauges that measure scratch & paint depths, but they are not yet widely used in Turkey. Therefore, scratches in Turkey are usually measured by touch using traditional methods.

If your fingernail catches when you run it across a scratch at a right angle, that scratch has definitely reached the metal.

Scratches that reach the metal cannot be removed by paint protection techniques using polishing, sanding, or compounds. Attempts to remove them will only enlarge the scratch and cause more damage to the car's paint surface.

A scratch that reaches the metal can only be repaired with a spot paint job.

Deep Scratches - How Can I Tell if I Have Deep Scratches on My Car?

Scratches that go through the car's clear coat layer and into the paint layer but do not penetrate the paint layer are defined as deep scratches. Whether a scratch has reached the paint layer can also be determined by the fingernail test. If your fingernail does not catch when you run it across the scratch several times at a right angle, but you can feel the scratch with your fingertip, we can define this as a deep scratch.

Deep scratches are those that can be removed without damaging the car's paint surface through a professional scratch removal process that involves correct diagnosis (knowledge), the right product, and the right technique.

Superficial Clear Coat Scratches - How Can I Tell if I Have Superficial Scratches on My Car?

These are scratches on the surface of the clear coat layer that protects the car's paint, causing the paint to appear dull due to light refraction. The practical definition of these scratches is as follows.

These are scratches that cannot be felt with a fingertip but are visibly dense on the paint surface, causing the paint to look dull.

These are circular-looking scratches that appear like very fine cloth marks on the paint surface. The practical definition of these scratches is as follows.

WHAT IS REAL PAINT PROTECTION? HOW IS PAINT PROTECTION DONE AT GLOBOWAX DRY CAR CARE?

The real paint protection process performed at our GLOBOWAX DRY CAR CARE application centers consists of four separate stages.

In the first stage, after a standard GLOBOWAX car wash, stubborn dirt and stains that adhere to the paint surface and are not removed by water (such as tar, asphalt, tree sap, industrial and chemical dust; iron and other metal dust, hard water spots, etc.) and other particles that negatively affect the paint are perfectly cleaned without damaging the paint and clear coat, thanks to GLOBOWAX's products developed for the specific nature of the stains.

Scratches, swirls, and paint deformations occur on the car's paint and clear coat surface due to external factors, incorrect washing, and polishing applications. These scratches dull the paint surface by refracting light. As the second stage, these scratches, swirls, and paint deformations are removed without damaging the paint and clear coat, using nano-technological products developed by GLOBOWAX DRY CAR CARE's solution partners and product engineers according to the car's paint and the depth of the scratches, combined with professional application techniques and expert technicians.

In the third stage, the paint surface, now cleaned of all foreign substances and with scratches removed, is first checked for swirls and scratches with GLOBOWAX DRY CAR CARE's inspection spray. Once confirmed, it is perfectly polished with nano paint polishing compounds developed by GLOBOWAX DRY CAR CARE and its solution partners, restoring it to its original, dazzling shine. With the silicone-free structure of new-generation polishes, swirls are permanently removed.

Finally, to ensure the long-lasting brilliant appearance of the paint surface—now cleaned of foreign substances and free of scratches—and to protect it against external factors, the paint protection process is applied as the fourth stage.

At GLOBOWAX DRY CAR CARE, each paint protection service has its own recommended product groups based on the paint types of the target cars, and the paint protection service is named after this product.

All three products used in the paint protection service at GLOBOWAX DRY CAR CARE are liquid clear coat-based, just like the car's original clear coat. The protection products are produced and defined as transparent clear coats. Therefore, just like the car's original clear coat, they undergo oxidation when applied to the surface and penetrate the surface's texture. This structure forms a covalent bond on the paint surface, cures, and adheres to the paint surface with a flexible layer.

Most of the products used in services defined as paint protection in the market are Wax, not Lack (Clear Coat).

Waxes have large particle sizes, do not penetrate the paint surface, and adhere by sticking to it. They do not provide long-term protection. Therefore, if you are getting a paint protection service for your car, it is very important to question whether the content of the protection product is lack (clear coat) and to examine the product.

HOW IS THE GLOBOWAX DRY CAR CARE NANO PAINT PROTECTION APPLICATION PERFORMED?

1- Applying the Product to the Paint Surface

When the product is applied to the paint surface, the silicon-based nano polish particles within it align themselves in a specific order due to their mutual attraction.

2- Working the Product into the Paint Surface

After the liquid part of the product, the alcohol components, evaporates, the applied product is wiped with a microfiber cloth. During this process, the silicon-based nano polish particles in the product begin to adhere more strongly to each other and to the paint surface.

3- Waiting/Curing Time of Approximately One Hour

After wiping with a microfiber cloth, during the one-hour waiting period, the silicon-based nano polish particles in the product adhere tightly to the paint surface, forming a durable structure with a 9H hardness level on the paint surface.

Information: The application protection period lasts for approximately 40-50 pressure washes or 12 months.
