CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Dear Customers, this clarification text has been prepared by GLOBOTURK TEKNOLOJİ OTOMOTİV SANAYİ TİCARET LTD. ŞTİ. in its capacity as data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.
This text has been prepared to inform and enlighten you regarding the purposes for which your personal data will be processed, to whom and for what purposes your processed personal data may be transferred, the method and legal basis for the collection of your personal data, and your other rights as enumerated in Article 11 of the PDPL. 1- Data Controller
The Data Controller is GLOBOTURK TEKNOLOJİ OTOMOTİV SANAYİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, located at Bahçeşehir 1. Kısım Mah. Kemal Sunal Cad. No.19/D – 412 Atrium İş Merkezi Başakşehir/İstanbul.
2- Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed automatically in accordance with the principles and procedures stipulated in the PDPL, within the scope of the conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
Your personal data may be processed for purposes such as;

Ensuring that the commercial activities carried out by our Company are conducted in compliance with legislation and Company policies by our business units and partnerships, executing these activities, and planning the business conducted with our partners, authorized dealers, authorized service centers, and suppliers,

Planning and implementing our Company's commercial policies and business strategies,

Planning and executing our Company's human resources activities and managing personnel recruitment processes,

Planning and executing internship and training programs,

Protecting the commercial reputation and reliability of our Company,

Conducting internal audit activities,

Delivering products for orders placed through our Company and our online store, the GLOBOWAX Online Shop (otoyikama.tr),

Executing financial, accounting, and fiscal transactions, including invoicing related to sales,

Fulfilling obligations related to after-sales support,

Managing the use of our Company's call center,

Addressing and resolving employee and Customer requests and complaints,

Conducting statistical evaluations for matters such as Customer satisfaction, database creation, market research, and analysis,

Providing guidance on products that may interest our Customers, taking into account their shopping experiences,

Sending campaign information, details about new products, and promotional offers to Customers and members, subject to their consent,
(Our members can make their choice regarding receiving such information during registration, and can later change this preference in the account information section after logging in, or by using the link in the notification message sent to them.)

Fulfilling our legal obligations and exercising our rights arising from current legislation.
Transfer of Personal Data
Personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, authorized dealers, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals, provided that adequate and effective measures are taken to achieve the purposes listed above, in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated in the PDPL and within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL. Our Company takes all necessary administrative and technical measures to protect personal data during its transfer and provides training to its employees to ensure the utmost care is shown in this regard.
Rights of the Data Subject
The data subject may apply to our company under Article 11 of the PDPL to exercise the following rights;

To request information if their personal data has been processed,

To learn the purpose of processing their personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,

To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, both domestically and abroad,

To request the correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,

To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,

To request that the correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,

To object to the emergence of a result against the individual, arising exclusively from the analysis of processed data through automated systems,

To demand compensation for damages in case of loss due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
In accordance with Article 13 of the PDPL, requests regarding the exercise of the rights mentioned above can be sent to our email address kvkk@globowax.com.tr with a secure electronic signature, delivered by hand with a wet-signed petition and identity-verifying documents to our address at Bahçeşehir 1. Kısım Mah. Kemal Sunal Cad. No.19/D – 412 Atrium İş Merkezi Başakşehir/İstanbul/Türkiye, or sent via a notary public. The application form can be accessed at www.globowax.com.tr.
Our Company will conclude the request free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff determined by the Board.
