DRY 12 | Nano Teflon Paint Sealant & Glaze

Professional Paint Protection - Step 3

Description: DRY 12 is the ultimate finishing touch in the GLOBOWAX exterior detailing system. Formulated with advanced Nano-Technology and durable PTFE (Teflon) polymers, creates a resilient protective shield over your car's paintwork. While waxes offer short-term shine, DRY 12 is designed for longevity. It bonds to the clear coat to seal the surface, locking in the gloss achieved during the polishing stages. It is particularly famous for its ability to rejuvenate faded or oxidized paint on dark-colored cars, giving them a deep, wet, "glass-like" reflection that looks brand new.

Key Features:

  • Ultimate Protection: Creates a slick, non-stick barrier against bird droppings, road tar, and environmental fallout.
  • Deep Gloss & Restoration: Enhances color depth and restores the vibrancy of faded or "milky" paint, especially on black and dark blue cars.
  • Glass-Like Finish: Levels the surface to produce a mirror-like reflection.
  • Step 3 Essential: The final sealing step after Compounding (DRY 10) and Polishing (DRY 11).
  • Versatile Application: Easy to apply by hand for enthusiasts or by machine for professional detailers.

PROFESSIONAL APPLICATION GUIDE

DRY 12 is the final step in the paint correction process. It should be applied to a clean, dry, and cool surface.

Method 1: Machine Application (Finishing)

  1. Setup: Use a soft Finishing Foam Pad (usually Black or Red) on your DA or Rotary polisher.
  2. Application: Apply 3-4 small drops to the pad.
  3. Spreading: Spread the sealant over the panel at a low speed. There is no need to apply pressure or "work" the product hard like a compound; you simply want to coat the surface evenly.
  4. Haze & Buff: Allow the product to haze (dry to a matte film) for 1-2 minutes, then buff off gently with a plush microfiber towel.

Method 2: Manual Application (Hand Waxing)

  1. Apply: Put a small amount of DRY 12 onto a soft foam wax applicator pad.
  2. Spread: Apply a thin, even layer to the paint using circular, overlapping motions. Less is more—a thin layer bonds better than a thick one.
  3. Cure: Let the sealant cure on the surface for a few minutes until a haze forms.
  4. Finish: Wipe away the haze with a clean, dry microfiber towel to reveal the brilliant shine.
PRO TIP: For the ultimate durability, allow DRY 12 to cure out of direct sunlight and away from water for at least 12 hours after application. This allows the Nano-polymers to fully cross-link with the paint.
